Santa has come and gone, presents once wrapped with care have been pulled apart, the Christmas tree is quickly loosing it’s needles and we’ve all indulged on more sweets and mulled wine than we care to admit. So the time has come to move on as we do, and often times too quickly, to the next thing to look forward to. The holiday holidays are now behind us, 365 days until Christmas left to go, so onto New Year’s.
While I rarely put much emphasis on the day or the evening I will say it is always a time that I am fortunate enough to spend with dear friends having an amazing evening, ending one year and starting a new one, be it in on a beach as I was a few years ago, at a house party (a la last year!) or in a new city exploring local spots. This year while not in a new city and most definitely not home in Dallas or New York City I will in fact be with some of my dearest friends ringing in 2019 in the only way we know how … with each other having too much fun laughing our asses off and having the best time!
Just like many of you we still haven’t hammered down our exact plans so I’ll be sharing a few New Year’s Eve outfits for any occasion over the next couple of days!
If you’re anything like me go a little extra and wear the sparkly dress wherever it is that you’re headed! Why not wear a fun dress to ring in a new year, even if that means you’re doing it at your friend’s apartment!
Bringing the bang
Nothing says a full blown HAPPY NEW YEAR’S (and good riddance to 2018) like a short, sparky, sequin covered dress, am I right?
