Wedding Guest Attire Breakdown: The Garden Cocktail

Wedding season for me is in full swing. With four weddings in six weeks it’s a busy one. What makes it even more crazed than usual? Each wedding has a very different attire than the other. Not that I’ve ever been a fan of wearing outfits more than once to a big event but a girls gotta do what a girls gotta do sometimes. This is not one of those times. So I’m breaking down what to wear for each of these eyebrow raising, question mark attire situations that our friends are creatively adding to their invites these days.

Attire: Garden Cocktail

Thoughts: What. In. The. Heck. Are. You. Talking. About.

Outfit: Go with a midi flowly dress. This dress is ideal coming in at a whopping $109 it’s also a freaking steal and looks very similar to a Reformation dress that I dropped $250 on recently.  Paired with a great black ankle-tie heel (these were $29, similar ones here.) This combo is trusty, just dressy enough for cocktail party once you add a bold earring like these Marilyn Cooperman emerald ones that I borrowed from Flont.Club. It’s elevated but not over the top and perfect for an outdoor ceremony and reception.

On the 10 deal: You can get $50 off your first month at Flont.Club by using code ASHLEYNII50

Hair: Keep it simple and sleek with a low, tight ponytail.

Makeup:  Again, don’t go overboard here. I went with a bolder eye and a neutral lip for the ceremony, then added a pop of pink on the lips for the reception.
