A few weekends ago, I let you in on the details of what I was packing for my girls weekend out in Montauk. Now I’m sharing all of the details of what the girls and I were up to while out East. We stayed at the Montauk Beach House, which was delightful and incredibly convenient to everything and everywhere we wanted to venture to. The MBH is within walking distance to the beach, Main street and less than a 5 or 10 minute cab ride over to the likes of spots such as Surf Lodge, Rushmeyer’s, Navy Beach and Ditch Plains beach.
We kicked off the long weekend on Friday at La Brisa with fish tacos and spicy bloody mary’s – delish! If La Brisa looks familiar it’s because they are owned by one of my favorite taco spots in NYC, Tacombi, which is located down in Nolita. Post chowing down, we spent the afternoon relaxing at the beach until everyone got into town followed by a great lobster bake, a bonfire and s’mores making. The MBH set up a s’mores making bar for us next to the bonfire, which could not have been a better way to enjoy a perfect summer Friday night out East!
Saturday kicked off with refreshing juices from Montauk Juice Factory, a stroll through the art fair and coffee from Joni’s, of course followed by ample pooltime! With a large group of gals, we did dinner at Crow’s Nest who were more than accommodating with our rather giant group of ladies. The food and atmosphere were truly wonderful. Of course, no weekend is complete without watching the sunset from the deck at Surf Lodge with a side of live music.
Sunday’s are meant to be enjoyed, drawn out and more importantly relaxing so the gals and I started it with a delightful breakfast and coffee at Joni’s, naps on the beach and a awesome food at The Gig Shack.
What a wonderful weekend indeed!
