The II NYC Diaries: SoHo Sweet Spots

It’s no secret over here on Impossibly Imperfect that I have a minor sweet tooth so it should really come as no surprise that I like to make the rounds and do a bit of hard research from time to time on the subject. Tough job but someone has to do it! While I’ll be bringing you various spots throughout the city in this series to eat, drink and get your sweet fix in at this post is dedicated to the bustling sweet spots in SoHo. Side note – how adorable is the graffiti art in these snaps in front of the Little Cupcake Bakeshop on Prince Street?! The whole block for that matter is brightly decorated, which simply makes it a wonderfully cheerful ‘hood to explore.
Baked goodies:
  • The Little Cupcake Bakeshop – Who can pass up a slice of cake called the ‘Dreaming Princess?’ Exactly. No one. (Though if that’s not your thing, go with one of their pies or a rocky road or cereal treat bar!)
  • Laudree – Yes they have macaroons that are delightful but I recommend going here for the experience, the garden alone should be reason enough to give it a visit!
  • Dominique Ansel Bakery – skip the cronut and go for their cookie shot. It’s everything you think it is.
Cold treats:
  • Morgenstern’s NYC – Yes yes, this is pushing it a bit because it’s on Rivington but it is also just that GOOD – bourbon vanilla … need I say more?
  • Osteria Morini – Their gelato takes me back to trips to Italy in one bite. Best part? You can get it in a to-go cup! Winning!
  • 10 Below Ice Cream – It’s a different take on the frozen goodness of a regular cone but it does not disappoint! And who can pass up something called Monkey Business??

You make me want to get down to Soho asap to try all these goodies! I have actually never been to Laduree, and didn’t even know they had a garden, so definitely checking that place out. P.s. love the high waisted chambray pants girl!

    xoxo Nicole
