Thank you to adidas running for sponsoring this post!
One thing is certain these days, when I’m working out I not only want to be comfortable but I must be cute. Rolling into a workout class with your half-awake self and last year’s running pants is no longer an option. It’s pretty much a fashion show if you haven’t caught on so I’m constantly on the hunt for chic, functionable active wear. Side note, I have poor circulation in my left leg due to a running injury so when I say my gear needs to be functionable I mean it really has to work with me and help me.
Enter adidas warp knitwear and UltraBOOST kicks.
I’m all about my sneakers these days given the recent foot injury and other ongoing running hurdles, I have to make sure that I am only putting the best shoes on my feet. Let me just say my adidas UltraBOOST sneakers are GAME CHANGERS and this is not an exaggeration. Because of my foot issue I am hooked on the adaptive arch that wraps around my arch I haven’t felt this kind of support while running possibly ever and they are ultralight creating more comfort. The brand’s TORSION® SYSTEM is to thank for this, it’s the system between the heel and forefoot that create so much stability. Even walking I feel a bit of extra bounce in my step because they have the most responsive cushioning and the STRETCHWEB outsole not only looks cool but it flexes underfoot for an energized run.
When I said I was hooked I meant that and you guys know I’d never steer you in the wrong direction on sneakers!
As for looking even more chic? I’ve been loving adidas’ warp knitwear, it’s made from a blended nylon that gives a curve hugging compression fit that is super comfortable but also provides support. I’ve worked up a sweat in these babies doing everything from BoCo to Barry’s – trust me when I say they stand the test plus there is a built-in ventilation for added comfort.
The cropped sports bra is actually just that comfy and cute that I paired it under my overalls last week with my LWK (little white kicks!) for a casual day of running around Brooklyn.
Style + support, what more could a girl ask for?
One thing to note on the bottoms, they ran a bit small (or maybe all of my Cake Makers made my behind expand lol!) so I went up a size in them and they were perfect! Super seamless!
