How to Style a Vintage Louis Vuitton with LXR & Co.

My style has varied over the years but the one thing that has stayed consistent? My love of luxury vintage pieces. I’ve been investing in pre-loved bags, clothes and accessories for as long as I can remember which is why I’m so excited to be teaming up with LXR & Co. to give you a $500 giftcard to shop their amazing selection of vintage luxury pieces! Head to my IG post HERE to enter!

Their selection is unparalleled with incredible brands and pieces like this Louis Vuitton vintage tote bag. It’s such a great investment piece for me because I can carry it for everything – work meetings (it actually holds my 13” mac!),  brunch with the girls to date nights.

Here’s how to style a vintage Louis Vuitton – these tips work for any of their styles because the classic print never goes out of style!

Work, work, work

Showing up to a big work meeting feeling my most confident self means that I’m dressing the part. With my consulting practice I’m on the move so much and need a great bag that can tote items with me but look super elevated to match that of the work and clients I am with daily.

How to style:

A great dress

Sneakers (because that’s the only way to walk miles in NYC from meeting to meeting)

Vintage Hermes scarf

Vintage sunglasses

Brunch with the girls

Whether you’re doing brunch up town followed by a museum day at The Met or downtown with a bit of gallery hopping afterwards in Chelsea or SoHo you’re going to want to make sure you’re prepared for the day. We all know you won’t be going back to your apt! Wear a lightweight linen dress, comfy flats and big sunnies.

How to style:

A perfect summer dress with a fun pattern

Cute flat sandals because you know brunch with certainly turn into post brunch adventures at art galleries all over Chelsea and SoHo

Date Night

I love, I mean LOVE, a great date night (or really any excuse to put on heels these days!) and even better if the date night is to a new spot out east. But you know what that means … dinner date will turn into an evening of grabbing drinks at a few spots, making our way out even further east for dancing at Surf Lodge.  I’ll surely need to touch up my makeup and possibly swape the heels for a pair so slides before all is said and done.

How to style:

A perfect pair of denim Bermuda shorts

A quintessential pair of nude heels

A vintage kimono knotted up for a shirt because it is far too hot to wear anything but nothing and this is as close to that as we can come!

Cute flat sandals because you know brunch with certainly turn into post brunch adventures at art galleries all over Chelsea and SoHo
